This neighborhood of 26 beautifully built single-family homes, Rolling Knolls, was a welcome development to the area. This property, located on Manning Road, was previously home to one single-family home in dilapidated condition, The property was unincorporated and not part of the city. The city took action and required annexation of the property so it would be developed within the city. The development contributed to maintaining a strong property value in the area and also provided new revenue to the local taxing districts. The property was developed with modern stormwater and wetland regulations ensuring the development did not cause any drainage problems in the area. We welcome all the Rolling Knolls residents to Darien and hope they are enjoying being a part of the community.
