The City of Darien has been invited to participate in the Chicago Region's Tree Initiative, with the Morton Arboretum providing up to 30 free trees for Darien residents to plant on their property. Due to the limited quantity, the trees will be divided among the city's seven wards and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The agreement and guidelines can be viewed
