Our Deepest Condolences to the City of Highland Park
The following is a note that Mayor Marchese sent to Mayor Nancy Rotering of Highland Park
Mayor Rotering:
On behalf of the residents of the City of Darien we offer our sincere condolences and prayers for those who lost family members as a result of the tragedy that took place on July 4. On a personal level, I want to thank you for your actions following the incident as you demonstrated leadership in the care and concern you showed for your residents and your community.
Please let me know if there is anything that we can do to assist you; please know that while we are separated by a number of miles, you are our neighbor and we will always be there for Highland Park or any community that endures such a tragedy.
